Sunday Morning Worship Info!

Sunday Morning Worship Info!

We are meeting in person and online to glorify Christ together at 9:30AM Sunday mornings! If you are a first time guest, let us know you are coming at pastorshudson@gmail.com. We want to make sure we welcome you when you arrive for worship!

We love children in worship! We have nursery care for ages 0-4 and a Kid's Activity Table and bags for older children. Our Prayer Room off of the balcany has been set up for nursing mothers or a quiet place that parent can sit with their children and still hear the service.

You may also join us online at www.facebook.com/groups/fpclagrande.
Please contact the church office for updates on group gatherings.

FPC Worship Info 5.10.26

Greetings in the name of our Risen Lord Jesus Christ!

Join us for worship online or in person this Sunday, May 10, at 9:30AM Pacific Time.

Sunday is when the church gathers for worship in a familiar pattern of praying, hearing and responding to God's Word, and giving thanks in song and music. This Sunday is the 6th Sunday in Eastertide, in which we will do all those things. We will also celebrate the Lord's Supper, present Bibles to our high school graduates and a 3rd grader, and acknowledge Mother's Day and the women in our lives who have supported us.

Yet we also know that the death of Mary Helen looms large for all of us. How could it not? She served for nearly 50 years as our church organist and musician.

Mary Helen's family are in the process of planning a celebration of life, and we need to give them time and space to do that. We do not yet have information about when that service will be, but we promise to let you know as soon as we do.

However, our congregation is grieving, and we need space now to mourn together. So, this Sunday, May 10, we plan to hold some space during the usual sermon time to share Mary Helen stories. We won't be doing an "open mic," but we will have a time when you can write your stories down.

We will hold this small space for mourning right now in the midst of and alongside the other movements of our common life together, and later, when Mary Helen's family is ready, we will support them in offering a service of Witness to the Resurrection.

Pastor Laura's message, What's Your Testimony?, is inspired by John 21:20-25.  You are invited to read and meditate on the scripture beforehand.

You can connect online at FPC Online Worship to watch the service live.

We invite you to add your name to our Virtual Guest Book to help us know who is watching, take prayer requests, and connect with you if you wish.  The link to the Guest Book is Virtual Guest Book.

Blessings,
Laura and Keith
