Sunday Morning Worship Info!

Sunday Morning Worship Info!

We are meeting in person and online to glorify Christ together at 9:30AM Sunday mornings! If you are a first time guest, let us know you are coming at pastorshudson@gmail.com. We want to make sure we welcome you when you arrive for worship!

We love children in worship! We have nursery care for ages 0-4 and a Kid's Activity Table and bags for older children. Our Prayer Room off of the balcany has been set up for nursing mothers or a quiet place that parent can sit with their children and still hear the service.

You may also join us online at www.facebook.com/groups/fpclagrande.
Please contact the church office for updates on group gatherings.

FPC Worship Info 12.15.24 Third Sunday of Advent

Greetings in the name of Emmanuel, Jesus Christ!

Join us for worship online or in person this Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 9:30AM Pacific Time.  We are celebrating the Third Sunday of Advent

We are having our Spontaneous Christmas Pageant using the song The Friendly Beasts followed by the Starman Party.  We invite the children and those young at heart to come a little early to church to dress up as their favorite character from the Christmas story.  Also, there will be some special music.  It will be a service you won't want to miss!

For those joining us in person, we have masks available for your use if you wish to use one.

You can connect online at Online Worship to watch the service live and you can use that same link to access a recording of the worship service anytime.

We invite you to add your name to our Virtual Guest Book to help us know who is watching, take prayer requests, and connect with you if you wish.  The link to the Guest Book is Virtual Guest Book.

Blessings,
Keith and Laura

Looking ahead...

Dec 18-Choco and Carols in the sanctuary at 6PM.  Piano teacher Jan Miller will have some of her students share what they have been working on for the holidays and we will also sing some of the favorite carols of the season.

Dec 19-Choir Practice at 5PM

Dec 20-Longest Night in the sanctuary at 5PM.  This will be similar to our usual Evening Prayer, but with a focus on loss and grief that many people experience over the holidays.  Lots of scripture and reflection, singing, and we will celebrate communion.

Dec 22-Fourth Sunday of Advent worship in the sanctuary.  Come hear about the birth of John the Baptist from Luke's gospel.

Dec 24-Christmas Eve at 6PM in the sanctuary.  We will have lessons and carols with communion and candlelight.  There will be sparklers after the service for the younger church.  Bring a friend!

Jan 5-Ecumenical Epiphany Service.  This year we are hosting.  We will service communion.

The church office will be closed Dec 25 & 26 and Jan 1 & 2.
