Join us for worship online or in person this Sunday, Sept 24 at 9:30AM Pacific Time. 

Pastor Laura's sermon is inspired by Genesis Genesis 32:22-30 and Mark 14:32-36.  You are invited to read and mediate on the scripture beforehand. 

For those joining us in-person, masks are now optional.  We have masks available for your use.

Community Fellowship Night dinners will begin this week on September 27th at 6PM at the Friendship Center. Come and bring a friend! 

Paul: A Biography  based on N.T. Wright’s biography of Paul will begin this fall with a second session in the spring.  Plan, subject to change: In person starts Sept 26 at 1PM, online starts Sept 28 at 6PM.  

Save the Date!!  Our ecumenical World Communion Sunday is October 8th.  Our guest preacher is author Mark Yaconelli.  He will also lead a workshop that afternoon that you won’t want to miss.  Stay tuned! Service will be at 10AM at First Pres.

LPW Holiday Bazaar will be on Saturday, November 4th with set-up on that Thursday and Friday.  As you’re harvesting summer’s bounty remember to plan some to share with the community.  The longer evenings are perfect for getting craft items underway.

Evening Prayer will be on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the sanctuary at 7:00 pm.  Mark your calendars for September 26th, October 24th, and November 28th.  There will be no Evening Prayer service in December.
