Worship in the Woods

 A reminder that we are joining our Presbyterian brothers and sisters from Pendleton, Baker City, Ukiah, and Umatilla at Westminster Woods for worship near Emigrant Springs State Park Sunday for worship.  The service will be at 10AM in the chapel.  A potluck will follow, with the Pendleton church providing the main dish.  Please bring a dish to share.  They have tableware and drinks will be provided.

Here is what Connie Ingerson says about this service: I have experienced this worship service many times in recent years and encourage all of you to come this Sunday.  The spirit-filled time of worship is well worth the drive and it is rewarding to meet so many of our brothers and sisters from our area.  While you are worshipping, you are surrounded by the beauty of God's creation that you see from the many views provided by the chapel's windows.  I hope to see you there!

From La Grande:
Drive west on interstate highway 84, take exit 234 (Emigrant Springs State Park), cross the freeway on an overpass and then take an immediate left onto the Westminster Lane service road at a Y intersection just after leaving the freeway overpass. Travel down Westminster Lane for about 1/4 mile (look for a sign) and turn right into Westminster Woods.
