Sunday Morning Worship Info!

We are meeting in person and online to glorify Christ together at 9:30AM Sunday mornings! If you are a first time guest, let us know you are coming at pastorshudson@gmail.com. We want to make sure we welcome you when you arrive for worship!

We love children in worship! We have nursery care for ages 0-4 and a Kid's Activity Table and bags for older children. Our Prayer Room off of the balcany has been set up for nursing mothers or a quiet place that parent can sit with their children and still hear the service.

FPC Worship Info for 8.27.23 and Announcements

 Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!  


Join us for worship online or in person this Sunday, August 27 at 9:30AM Pacific Time. 

We are continuing our time in 1 Peter.  Pastor Laura's sermon, In the Thick of It, is based on 1 Peter 4:1-19.  You are invited to read and mediate on the scripture beforehand. 

For those joining us in-person, masks are now optional.  We have masks available for your use.  

You can connect online at Online Worship to watch the service live and you can use that same link to access a recording of the worship service anytime.

Announcements:

We continue our food drive for Friday Backpack.  Please bring donations to Sunday worship or when the church is open, Tues-Thursday, 9-Noon.  We will dedicate donations on Sept 3.

Pastor Laura will start her Presbytery wide book study on The Place We Make: Breaking the Legacy of Legalized Hate.  The group will be meeting via Zoom starting Aug 30th.

Our last Summer picnic will be Sept 6 at Riverside Park at 6PM.  Bring something to grill for yourself and a side dish to share.  Also bring your tableware and drinks.  

Community Fellowship Night dinners start back up on Sept 27th.

Pastor Keith will lead a study on NT Wright's Paul: A Biography.  In person will start Sept 26 at 1PM and online starts Sept 28 at 6PM.  Stay tuned for more details.

The La Grande Presbyterian Women's Holiday Bazaar is slated for Nov 4th.
