Sunday Morning Worship Info!

Sunday Morning Worship Info!

We are meeting in person and online to glorify Christ together at 9:30AM Sunday mornings! If you are a first time guest, let us know you are coming at pastorshudson@gmail.com. We want to make sure we welcome you when you arrive for worship!

We love children in worship! We have nursery care for ages 0-4 and a Kid's Activity Table and bags for older children. Our Prayer Room off of the balcany has been set up for nursing mothers or a quiet place that parent can sit with their children and still hear the service.

You may also join us online at www.facebook.com/groups/fpclagrande.
Please contact the church office for updates on group gatherings.

Prayer Power from the Pews!

 Dear Friends-

Lent is coming quickly!  I’m inviting you to join me in a Lenten prayer practice for the church, her members, and our community starting Friday, February 24 at 8:30AM in the front of the sanctuary.  I’m calling it “Prayer Power from the Pews.”  We will meet weekly on Fridays through Lent.   Since Mary Helen comes in to practice at about 9AM, the heat will be on!  I’ll have the sanctuary doors unlocked as the church office is closed that day and it will be hard to monitor two entrances.  I’m guessing we will gather for 15-20 minutes.

If you are unable to come, I invite you to weekly take a moment either at that same time or other convenient time to specifically pray to God in Christ for the following things:

  • The church and the church’s ministry in the community.

  • The friends and members of the church.  Please use a copy of the directory and pray for those listed.  If there is someone that the Holy Spirit is calling you to contact, reach out!

  • Our community and your neighborhood.  Take a map of La Grande/Union County and use it to help pray for people in specific areas.  Who is on our hearts to invite to become part of our church?

My hope is that this practice of praying for the church will continue for you past Easter either individually or as a prayer group.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Blessings,

Keith
