Hi, Friends-Just a reminder that tomorrow (Feb 17) is Ash Wednesday and Lent begins!
The sanctuary will be open from 9AM-5PM tomorrow for anyone who wants to stop in and pray or meditate in the beauty of our sanctuary.
Hopefully you received the mailer we sent out with the sticker of the ashes. We understand there have been some mail issues because of the weather. Feel free to display that sticker in your house or put it somewhere you can see it to "remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return. In life and in death, you belong to God."
The other item in that mailer was a tear drop. Please write on that tear drop those things that separate you from God or keep you from having a full relationship with Christ. You can drop that tear drop off at the church tomorrow in the basket in the back of the sanctuary. At 5:30 PM we will burn the tear drops.
