Sunday Morning Worship Info!

Sunday Morning Worship Info!

We are meeting in person and online to glorify Christ together at 9:30AM Sunday mornings! If you are a first time guest, let us know you are coming at pastorshudson@gmail.com. We want to make sure we welcome you when you arrive for worship!

We love children in worship! We have nursery care for ages 0-4 and a Kid's Activity Table and bags for older children. Our Prayer Room off of the balcany has been set up for nursing mothers or a quiet place that parent can sit with their children and still hear the service.

You may also join us online at www.facebook.com/groups/fpclagrande.
Please contact the church office for updates on group gatherings.

Christ's Peace,
Pastors Laura and Keith

World Communion Worship Info 10.5.25

 Dear Friends-

We will meet for worship to celebrate World Communion at the United Methodist Church at 10AM Pacific time on Sunday, October 5.  We will be joined by First Christian, St. Peter's Episcopal, Hub City Church, and Zion Lutheran.  Deacon Linda Hale from St. Peter's will share the message.

If you wish to watch the live stream, here is the YouTube link.  If possible, we will see if we can share it over to the FPC's page when it starts.

Blessings,
Keith and Laura

Upcoming Events

Centering Prayer gathers at noon on Mondays in the Parlor.  For more information, contact David Ebel.

Prayer Shawl meets at 1:30 the first and third Wednesday of each month  in the Parlor.  All are welcome.

Pastor Laura will facilitate “Stories and Shalom”, a women’s retreat at Westminster Woods on October 11th from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  The retreat is hosted by the women of FPC Pendleton. The women of FPC La Grande are welcome!  Cost is $20.  Contact Pastor Laura to sign up.

Our annual Food Drive for Friday Backpack will start September 21st and run through October 12th.  The top five items needed are 16 ounce jars of peanut butter, 15 ounce cans of chili, 5 ounce cans of tuna or chicken, 4 ounce packages of instant potatoes, and 15 ounce cans of any variety of Chef Boy RD.  Bring items on Sunday mornings or any time the office is open.  If you wish to make a financial donation, please make checks payable to Friday Backpack.  Please note the sizes of items.  Children need to be able to carry them home from school, so larger items are more difficult.  Thank you.

Scouts from 514 who are attending the National Jamboree in 2026 are looking for ways to raise funds to attend.  If you have yard work or leaf raking you need done, reach out to Keith and he will coordinate it for Ben, Daxon, and Dominic.  They will come to your house and for a donation, they will get it done!

Keith has started his class called "The 15 Most Essential Bible Passages". You can still join us!  Bring your lunch if necessary on Tuesdays at 1PM in the Parlor.
