Sunday Morning Worship Info!

We are meeting in person and online to glorify Christ together at 9:30AM Sunday mornings!

We love children in worship! Our nursery is open, but we do not have a nursery attendant at this time. Parents are invited to listen to the service in the nursery while tending their children.

You may also join us online at www.facebook.com/groups/fpclagrande.
Please contact the church office for updates on group gatherings.

Holy Week 2024 Happenings

Dear Friends,

Holy Week is quickly approaching.  Some things to know:

We are again this year taking donations for the Easter lilies.  If you would like to give in memory of a loved one, please let the office know by 10AM on Thursday, March 28.  We will at that time be printing bulletins and will include those names in a bulletin insert.  If you give online, please notify the office so we make sure the funds get to the right fund.

Preparing for and services during Holy Week:

March 23-Church Clean Up.  9AM.  Come down to the church and help get the yard beautiful and ready for Holy Week.

March 24-Palm/Passion Sunday.  9:30AM Regular Worship.  Celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and then contemplate his arrest and crucifixion as we read the account of these events from Mark's gospel.  We will partake in communion.

March 26-Holy Week Evening Prayer.  7PM in the sanctuary.  Hear the Tuesday readings of Holy Week and pray during times of silence and reflection.  Communion will be served.

March 28-Maundy Thursday.  6PM in the sanctuary.  We will share a simple potluck meal before celebrating Christ's new commandment to love one another.  Communion will be served.  There will not be foot washing this year.

March 29-Ecumenical Good Friday Service. 6PM at the United Methodist Church.

March 31-Sunrise Service.  6:30AM Cove Ascension Camp.  Breakfast will be served following the service.

March 31-Easter Service. 9:30AM in the Sanctuary.  Bring a flower to put on the Blooming Cross.  An Easter Egg hunt will follow the service for our youngest members.  Communion will be served.

More details will be sent out about these events and services as we get closer.

Blessings,
Keith and Laura
