Worship Info for 1.31.21 & Announcements

Please join us online Sunday morning at 9:30AM to glorify God together.  The link is FPC Worship 1.31.21.  We will be ordaining new church officers and celebrating communion.  You may participate at home with communion by having your own bread and juice/wine and partaking when we do.  Or you may come to the Friendship Center between 11AM and 12:30PM for a drive through communion.  Please enter through the Spring Ave entrance to the parking lot.

Bulletin information is Bulletin 1.31.21

We will again attempt in-person worship starting February 7th.  The same safety protocols will be in effect that we had last fall when we met.  These include masks, no singing, RSVPing and social distancing.  We will get more information out next week.  We will continue to offer online worship.  We will continue to monitor the county Covid situation closely so be prepared for changes to the plan, especially if we experience a spike in cases.

The office doors will remain locked during office hours (Tues-Thurs, 8:30AM-Noon).  If you need to set up a meeting with us or Donna, we invite you to call ahead at 541-963-5114.  This is to help to make sure we don't have too many people in the office area at one time.

Let us know if you have any questions!

January Worship Update

Happy Epiphany!  We hope you had a blessed Christmas, and may the New Year open up new opportunities for experiencing Christ.

On Tuesday, the Worship Committee met and decided that FPC will not have in-person worship through Jan. 17 because of the current status of Covid cases in Union County. The Worship Committee will meet on January 19 to review the Covid situation at that time and assess in-person worship accordingly. Please continue praying for a decrease in case counts in Union County!

On January 17, we are scheduled to have a Congregational Meeting to elect officers and review the pastors’ terms of call.  This Congregational Meeting will be held electronically via Zoom.  Early next week we will send out information on how to connect, and we will set up a ‘test’ time so that you can make sure you can connect to the Congregational Meeting. We want to have as many of you present for the meeting as possible.

Blessings,

Keith and Laura

 Dear Saints,

Blessed New Year!  Here is the link for this Sunday's worship service.  We did our traditional Ecumenical Epiphany service with Roberta from Zion Lutheran/St. Peter's Episcopal Churches and Taylor from the United Methodist Church.  There isn't a bulletin, but the order of worship is included in the YouTube description.

Christ's Peace be with you in 2021!
